Pleased to announce my new website displaying photos I took back in the late 60s when I was a Movement photographer for Liberation News Service, a sort of Associated Press for the underground newspapers. Here's a link: https://www.bevgrantphotography.com
”Over the past few decades, Bev and her songs have been part of many social struggles including the labor movement, so it came as somewhat of a surprise to discover that her new solo CD It’s Personal is an introspective and heart-felt collection of personal songs. However, closer examination reveals that the songs in this collection give an insight into what has motivated and shaped this extraordinary artist. It’s Personal features a diverse mix of folk, jazz and good old rock and roll to gives us a glimpse of the world that is fighting to make a better place for all.” Ron Olesko

My photo exhibit at the Puffin Cultural Forum in Teaneck, NJ opened today in honor of Women's History Month. The photos were taken in 1968 at several of the Women's Liberation Movement actions that took place that year - the 1968 protest against the Miss America Beauty Pageant, a W.I.T.C.H. (International Terrorist Conspiracy from Hell) Hex on Wall Street on Halloween, and more. The exhibit continues until March 31st.
